Control Your Environment

MAKE YOUR HOME A COMFORTABLE HOME!

Creating a Comfortable Environment

In residential applications, occupant comfort is affected by temperature, humidity, air motion, clothing, the temperature of the interior surfaces of the room, and the quality of the indoor air.

The purpose of the HVAC system is to bring these factors in balance with your metabolic activity and the respiratory requirements. If your system is not up to standard, you may see some signs that your home is due for a heating and cooling overhaul. One first tell tale sign is that your system is noisy. This may indicate the ductwork is too small to accommodate the system or there may be a problem with the indoor coil of the air conditioner. A second red light is excessive humidity in the house during the summer months; this could mean leaky ductwork. Excessive dust could also mean leaky ducts as air from attics and crawlspaces can be pulled inside the home.

Knowing that your air conditioning system is running at full SEER capacity, cleaning and maintaining quality air for your family, will ensure peace of mind and greater control for comfort and efficiency.
